To help, I've assembled the first wave/acceptances dates from the T14, based off 19-20 data from LSData: Yale: Small group of acceptances in mid November, large reject wave in Mid December. Acceptances trickle in throughout the spring with bigger acceptance waves in March/April. Stanford: First wave late December.
Chance me: 168-173, 3.8. Great reference letters, good work experience and personal statement, good but inconsistent volunteer history. Is anyone who has been willing to share if UT sends a nice admissions packet? (Inconsequential, I know, but I love seeing all of them posted on this thread). Also, what are my chances at financial aid?

So, while formal deadlines usually occur in early spring, it’s now possible to gain admission in late spring or summer at many law schools. However, just because you can do it doesn’t make applying in spring or later a good idea.

For us, it is possible to be admitted, denied, put on the waiting list, and held for regular decision during the Early Decision process. Understanding that all schools may have different procedures, but generally, what is the latest you would recommend a student taking the LSAT if they wanted to apply to law school during a given admissions cycle?
