6 ημέρες πριν · The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies requires 51 units in the major, including 30 units of core courses and the 21-unit option under the Elementary Education Emphasis or the Interdisciplinary Thematic Emphasis. Each course counted for the major must be completed with a “C” (2.0) or better.
Liberal Studies, Interdisciplinary Thematic Emphasis, B.A. The following Four-Year Roadmaps are meant to be a guide for students and academic advisors in planning a path to a degree within four years (eight semesters) if the student is able and willing to do so.
The mission of the Department of Liberal Studies is to provide its students with an educational experience that promotes interdisciplinary knowledge of major ideas in the humanities, arts, natural sciences, and social sciences, and advances critical reasoning and effective writing skills.
