Liberty offers 100 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain, and up to 15 snow tubing lanes, ski and snowboard instruction, a Children’s Learning Center, three terrain parks and a winter sports retail shop.
Liberty offers 16 trails served by 8 chairlifts, with terrain suitable for all levels of skiers and boarders, plus 14 snow tubing lanes and a carpet lift servicing the tubing park. The Liberty Mountain Hotel offers slopeside lodging and ski and stay packages.
29 Μαρ 2019 · Liberty is the closest mountain to the DC area, between familiar towns Emmitsburg and Gettysburg, PA. Liberty is more crowded than other mountains because of its proximity, but most visiting skiers are beginners or in the terrain park, so the blues on the backside have shorter lift lines.
Liberty offers a vertical drop of 620 feet, 16 trails, 8 lifts, 15 snow tubing lanes, ski and snowboard instruction, two terrain parks, and a winter sports retail shop. During your day on the slopes or après, grab a bite and a beer at McKee’s Tavern or enjoy craft food and brews at Eagle & The Owl.
