Liberty offers 100 acres of skiing and snowboarding terrain, and up to 15 snow tubing lanes, ski and snowboard instruction, a Children’s Learning Center, three terrain parks and a winter sports retail shop.
For the biggest savings, purchase your lift tickets online, 7+ days in advance of your visit. A: If you purchased your lift ticket 9 or more days in advance if you are in the US and 14 or more days in advance if you reside outside of the US, your lift ticket will be mailed to your address.
26 Ιουν 2019 · Ski Liberty is one the closest ski areas to Washington, D.C. and with its Liberty Mountain Resort and its new Highland Lodge that opened in 2015, is a great winter getaway destination. Activities at Liberty include skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and ice skating.
29 Μαρ 2019 · Liberty is the closest mountain to the DC area, between familiar towns Emmitsburg and Gettysburg, PA. Liberty is more crowded than other mountains because of its proximity, but most visiting skiers are beginners or in the terrain park, so the blues on the backside have shorter lift lines.
Like all resorts in the area, Liberty is lit for night skiing, and trails are covered by 100% snowmaking. Liberty offers 16 trails served by 8 chairlifts, with terrain suitable for all levels of skiers and boarders, plus 14 snow tubing lanes and a carpet lift servicing the tubing park.
