Searches for Library of Congress Control Numbers (LCCN), International Standard Book Numbers (ISBN), and International Standard Serial Numbers (ISSN). Numbers must be entered in exact order beginning with the first character.
The U.S. Copyright Office offers a search service for persons interested in investigating whether a work is under copyright protection and, if so, the facts of the copyright. For a fee of $200 per hour or fraction thereof (2 hour minimum), the office will search its public records and provide a report of its findings.

4 Απρ 2013 · You can search through copyright files by visiting the Copyright Office at www.copyright.gov/records (see Figure 2, below). All copyright information is located in the Public Catalog (click “Search Public Catalog”) which contains information about works registered since January 1978.
