Movie Review - LIFE (2017) *Spoilers*. LIFE was a movie I was quite excited to go and see, due to its trailers. They gave off an Alien-esque vibe and that had me intrigued, so I went and saw it. LIFE's opening scene was one that really captivated me. Its camera work and direction really gave off the sense that these characters were in space.
I totally reinterpreted the movie after realizing Calvin wasn't aggressive in ANY scene until he was threatened. Watch it again! Calvin doesn't break the doctor's hand until AFTER he approaches him with the probe a second time. When the rat bites Calvin he initially recoils before he attacks.
