It's a biblical reference because the anime is trying to portary Light as a devilish character and L as a Jesus figure. It's a symbol of "loving your enemies" and also a sign that death is coming for L and that Light will become the new L.

Doujinshi means self published works. Essentially the Japanese term for indie work. It can be music, it can be games, it can be books, it can be porn, it can be fan fiction.
That's all that it means. "Doujin" is an umbrella term that covers everything from original self-published VNs (like the very first Fate/Stay Night game) to fan-works like, say, porno comics of your favorite Fate characters. Doujinshi is short for doujin-zasshi or "self-published magazine."
