LIHEAP Application. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is designed to help low-income families and individuals meet home heating and medically necessary cooling costs. To be eligible, a household must have a gross income at or below 60% of the State Median Income and be responsible for the cost of heating.
Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP): Helps income eligible residents (example: up to $79,942 annual income for a family of four) with their heating and cooling bills and makes provisions for emergency heating system services and emergency fuel assistance within the Home Energy Assistance Program.
