Tis my favorite time of year, Halloween! I've been trying to make it an annual tradition to watch 2 movies every weekend during the month of October up until Halloween. What movies make your list for "must watch" during the Halloween season that you would recommend being added to anyone’s 2020 list?
October is upon us once more and I’m trying to compile a list of new Halloween/ scary movies to watch and add to the my list of favorites. My go to movies around Halloween include Halloween, trick or treat, the shining, psycho, monster house, sleepy hollow, beetlejuice, Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein.
I'm looking for movies that are similar to Halloween, where a serial killer targets a certain person and a town.
It’s just that this exact question gets asked multiple times every day on Reddit, Facebook, and every other Halloween group. If you really wanted to know, you could’ve scrolled through the sub for five seconds and seen 10 other posts asking this exact same question.
Old Vincent Price movies like House on Haunted Hill, The Pit and the Pendulum, The Haunted Palace, and dozens more.
Highly recommended. 🔪. Texas chainsaw , scream, X, Pearl, sleep away camp, wrong turn, evil dead 1981 or 2013. The Burning (1981) and A Bay of Blood (1971) are great picks! Black Christmas is very similar to Halloween, possibly even better than Halloween.
Even hotter take - I think Hubie Halloween is more of a season appropriate movie than Halloween. Hubie and Trick r' Treat are both Halloween movies whereas Halloween is a slasher that just happens to take place during Halloween.
