Line 6 first made their name with the Amp Farm plug-in, but since then they've concentrated on hardware products, and Gearbox Plug-in makes their latest range of amp and effects emulations available in a plug-in for the first time.

Here's what I did to get Gear Box working with my Tone Port UX1 under OS X El Capitan: 1) Under Applications > Line 6 > Drivers, run Line 6 Driver Uninstaller. 2) From the Line 6 Downloads page, download Version 7.5.7 of the Line 6 Audio/Midi driver, released 11/23/15. 3) Run the downloaded package. Restart the Mac.
Line 6 themselves even have a channel that basically nobody seems to pay attention to (no idea why!), but they put out a fair number of videos that dive into how to use Helix and get great tones and tips'n'tricks and all that, so definitely check that out as well: https://www.youtube.com/user/line6movies.
