One problem: the volume-balancepot is worn out and has to be replaced. I have replaced some pots and resisters on several basses and done some DIY stuff (also built a custom arcade cabinet) but I'm not a skilled tech.

  4. For now I am glad the problem is fixed, but for a permanent solution I am going to try and rig up a solution using a high amp rated NC (normally closed) switch or relay. I'm still debating what to do.

  6. 16 Νοε 2023 · After more troubleshooting it seems the power selector switch (switches between off, speaker A, Speaker B, and Both) is the issue. If I touch it and apply any amount of pressure I can cause the issue to happen.

  7. 2 Απρ 2020 · There are a few fixes that can be found online that include cleaning the switch and replacing the wiper or installing a relay. The KR-4070 measures 5 7/8″ x 18 1/2″ x 11 13/16″ and weighs just under 21 pounds. Despite its minor issues the Kenwood KR-4070 is a great receiver.
