Practice Lab is available 24/7-365 so you can go in and get used to the software, enter scenarios for fun or to enter scenarios for the certification tests. There are a few ways to access the practice lab.
Your Instructor, Site Coordinator, or other VITA/TCE volunteer contact will be able to provide you with the universal password. Once you access the Practice Lab, you will need to create a unique User ID if you do not already have one.
From the Practice Lab: Enter the universal password (if you do not have the password, you can request it from your site coordinator or SPEC relationship manager). Sign in to Practice Lab or create an account.
Go to Link & Learn Taxes. Go to Additional Resources and select the link for the Tax Software Practice Lab. Enter the universal password: TRAINPROWEB (all capitals, no spaces). If you have an existing account in the Practice Lab, enter your username and password and select Sign In.
A: You can either log in directly at. https://linklearntaxescertification.com or you can select VITA/TCE Central from the Link & Learn Taxes page. If you have an existing account, you must reset your password using the Forgot Password link. If not, create a new account. You can self-register at: https://linklearntaxescertification.com.
The Link & Learn Taxes certification has been redesigned this year. You can register and login into the test using VITA/TCE Central. In addition, return here to access the latest training and testing materials using Quick Links.
