Setting up the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router is made easy using the Smart Setup Wizard using a compatible web browser. The Smart Setup Wizard is embedded in the firmware and is available even if the router does not have an internet connection or is in its default settings.
The steps below will guide you on how to access the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Router settings without creating Linksys Smart Wi-Fi Account and signing in. 1. Launch a web browser. 2. In the Address bar, enter your router’s IP Address or “myrouter.local” then press [Enter].
To access your router settings without Internet access, enter the router password and then click Sign in. After you log into your router, select Connectivity and then the Internet Settings tab to view and change connection settings.

If you forget your router password, you'll have to reset your router and set up the router again. Resetting the router means clearing the name, password, and all other router settings and returning it to the factory default.
Wireless network password: Make sure all router cables are connected and lights are blinking. Make sure your computer is within range of your router. If your computer is too far away from or too close to the router, the wireless signal may not be found.
