THROUGH LITERACY. FORA is the premier U.S. high. impact tutoring organization. for SLIFE refugees. We are currently welcoming refugee children from ten countries into our program as they arrive. With over 90 more refugees on our waiting list, we are expanding into the old Chicago Northtown Public Library.
Aquinas Literacy Center is improving our neighborhoods; it is improving Chicago. One-on-One Tutoring Tutors commit to 90-minutes of instruction each week with their students.
Since then thousands of adults have participated in the broad range of programs Literacy Chicago has developed, including Basic Literacy, GED preparation, English as a Second Language, Workforce Development, Citizenship classes, Digital Literacy and numerous bridge programs.

11 Απρ 2017 · The Literacenter is a major statement for the cause of literacy, providing the physical manifestation of the CLA’s commitment to literacy in Chicago. The CLA has seen that the overall model of a shared workspace is key to achieving their vision of a 100 percent literate city.
