In 2022, I set out to photograph 40 women in their 40s, 50s, 60s, and beyond, celebrating their unique beauty through empowering portrait sessions. The overwhelming response inspired the continuation of this journey in 2023 and 2024.
Our project offers a unique and empowering experience for women over 40. We provide a safe and supportive environment where participants can shed inhibitions and rediscover their confidence. Are you a woman in your 40s, 50s or 60+? This is your time to shine! I’m seeking 40 women over the age of 40 who are ready to embrace and empower themselves through a photoshoot.
15 Φεβ 2024 · What image do you conjure in your mind when I say “picture a woman over 40”? How about over 50, 60, or even 70 years old? Traditionally, the media and entertainment industries have painted a narrow picture of beauty, implying that once women pass their childbearing years, their allure fades.
16 Δεκ 2021 · Starting January 1, 2022, I’m launching a campaign to photograph 40 women over the age of 40 (no limitation on which decade beyond). Later this month, I’ll release how to apply to be one of these women. We will join forces with hands held together to walk forward in truth and to be visible!
