The Ground Zero Emergency Training Center is a one-of-a-kind facility, located on a sprawling, 60-acre property in Tuttle, Oklahoma; designed to provide specialized education and training for both handlers and canines. The scene of a disaster can be extremely dangerous for a search-and-rescue team.
Ground Zero canines rank among the elite search-and-rescue teams throughout the nation. To qualify for training, canines must pass a rigorous physical and medical screening after demonstrating key traits and behaviors.
Develop a statewide SAR community that provides certified members and volunteers trained in incident command investigation, lost behavior, tracking, radio communications, ground technicians, mounted and canine OKSAR teams.
