As someone whose been living in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains for over 35 years, there are days, of course, that I think the Local Goat may be Pigeon Forge’s best restaurant. At least, it’s one of the best places to eat in the Smoky Mountains.

The Local Goat is deserving of its five star reviews. This is probably one of the most cleanly restaurants we have ever been to, barely even a crumb on the floor. The restaurant is also fairly large, so it can get a little loud inside when trying to have a conversation with your table.
