18 Μαΐ 2023 · It appears the main issue is bearing/hub failure. I do find the general spec. and look of the wheels very appealing but I'm a sucker for design, branding and marketing hype. Perhaps a custom build using the same hubs but alternative bearings is an option.
Are these wheels worth it? I think i can stuff 27.5" wheels into my 26" frame and fork. I'm planning on running narrow slicks for light commuting. It's not a very expensive bike so I don't want to throw a ton of money at something. I've seen these Bucklos wheels on Amazon for dirt cheap.
25 Ιουν 2019 · Thanks to the internet I have followed a fix for the pony trucks. One of the theories being that the Heljan pony wheels are too fine scale and the pony trucks too light. My first modification has been applied to a first generation Heljan model of Yeo with the product code 99501.
18 Αυγ 2022 · Luckily, Elite-Wheels seems to respond to issues others have had. BTW, they just updated their website with a new 29 Gnar Trail wheelset which looks really nice too. Their new hub has 320POE so 1.125degs!

25 Ιαν 2006 · I just got the launch FR wheels as spares. They look decent. You cannot build a quality FRONT wheel for $110, so for a complete set it is a bargain no matter how long they last.
