That would work on a TI-84 Plus (with a slight adjustment, you'd need to use the logBASE() function). With the latest operating system you'd also have the option of using the MathPrint log template and fill in the base interactively.
16 Σεπ 2015 · These programs are for the TI-83+ and TI-84+ calculators, including the 83+ SE and 84+ SE. They are mostly not compatible with the color-screen 84+ CSE or CE variants , but some BASIC programs can be run on all of them.
This TI-83 Plus and TI-84 Plus program performs several calculations related to logarithms. The program can do all of the following: Solve for X when Log(a)(B)=X using the change of base formula; solve for X when Log(x)(A)=B; solve A^(BX+C)=D^(EX+F) using logs; find natural Logs and Log properties; solve for X in positions such as Ln(AX+B)=C ...
Although this program is no longer necessary since newer TIOSes have the new logBASE command which does the same thing as this program, it is still useful for those who are still operating with any variation of Ti-83 models.
