1 Ιουλ 2022 · This graphic by Pablo Carlos Budassi provides a logarithmic map of the entire known universe, using data by researchers at Princeton University and updated as of May 2022. How Does the Map Work? Before diving in, it’s worth touching on a few key details about the map.
This vertically oriented logarithmic map spans nearly 20 orders of magnitude, taking us from planet Earth to the edge of the Observable Universe. The scheme locates notable astronomical objects of various scales: spacecraft, moons, planets, star systems, nearby galaxies, and notable large-scale structures are some of the objects indicated.

Logarithmic Maps of the Universe. Teachers can use this website to teach students about this recently revised map of the universe which illustrates recent discoveries, ranging from Kuiper belt objects in the Solar system, to the galaxies and quasars from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
