Take Highway 191 south of Moab for ~23-25 miles (<1 mile past La Sal Junction). You are looking for a gravel road on your right (west) signed as LOOKING GLASS ROAD (used to be called Hatch Wash road). Turn right and travel west 1.4 miles. Option 1: (May not be passable depending on recent rains) Turn left onto a deep sand 'road' for 0.3 miles.
Looking Glass Rock (also known as Looking Glass Arch) is a prominent rock formation located off Highway 191, about halfway between Moab and Monticello. It is accessible by an unmaintained road that, in all but inclement weather, should be easily passible with 2WD and/or low clearance.

20 Ιουλ 2022 · Looking Glass Rock is a great little big place to explore outside of Moab. There isn’t much to do here besides check out the giant sandstone rock feature. There are several natural arches and windows, which is how it gets its name of Looking Glass Rock.
