Cosumnes River College (CRC) the third largest college in the Los Rios district. It is located on the southern edge of Sacramento and takes its name from the Cosumnes River, which flows just a few miles to the south. CRC has a satellite campus in Elk Grove, California. Cosumnes River College is a public community college in Sacramento, California. It opened in 1970, taking its name from the Cosumnes River which flows just a few miles to the south. As of Spring 2017, enrollment was at 13,091 students at its main and satellite campus in Elk Grove, California.
As one of the nation's top 10 most diverse, two-year public colleges (noted in the Almanac of Higher Education), CRC is a student-centered, open-access community college dedicated to preparing students for an ever-changing future.
