I'm the artist behind the woodburned LOTR-inspired state maps, including the one of Washington you may have seen floating around. My most recent piece is the map of Oregon featured here! If you're interested in following along as I make each of the 50 states, you can find me on Instagram or Tiktok as Misty_Mountains_Pyrography!

This repository is a mirror of files found at 'MearthMap': http://www.illustratoren.nl/AOP/LOB/. The files available here are a scalable, vector-drawn map of J.R.R Tolkien's Middle Earth as described in his epic novel: The Lord of The Rings. All credit to the author, Chris Taylor.
Discover Middle Earth during Third Age with this interactive map. If you are here because you're watching the new season of The Rings of Power, you might enjoy visiting rop-map.com , an interactive map of the first season of the series.
These maps can be zoomed, dragged and each one shows some of the most important journeys, timeline events and much more! All maps are based on the The Atlas of Middle-earth from Karen Wynn Fonstad but extended with own ideas and small changes based on different other official maps.
in terms of the map itself, i trace the outside border of the state with transfer paper, then i freehand the details! i use google maps to choose which cities make the cut as well as gauge the size of the mountains.
