Then the full-size images can be loaded when one zooms in fully only. Regarding data on maps, not sure if you are aware that https://dynmap.ruslotro.com/ exists. And for having a very detailed map ingame, the MoorMap and TerrainMap plugins offer high resolution maps ingame.
Changes since my last update: Added Cardolan and Swanfleet. Updated Car Bronach, since I've more recently played through there and understand it better. Changed the design for underground places (Gundabad, Moria, PotD, Sarnur). A few misc. terrain improvements. Fixed road scaling in Rhovanion.
This map is made using the app Wonderdraft, and the map is based off of the in-game terrain map as found on this site: http://lotromap.net/terrainmap/google.html. It is therefore a highly accurate representation of the in-game world.
Download from the https://reshade.me/ website, run the file and browse and select the 'lotroclient.exe' location in it's folder, select the Direct3D 10/11/12 option when it asks, and only download the 'SweetFX' option.
I just went into Google Earth Pro and it doesn't look like you can export that large, so you might have to tile manually in GEP. If your area has high resolution orthoimagery on EarthExplorer you can download that, mosaic dataset that together, and then have a long export.
I run a Nvidia GPU, a 3080, and use Image Scaling. I can then set the resolution in game to 2646x1108 (77% of 3440x1440) which keeps the aspect ratio of 21:9. This makes the text much easier to read and I don't have to use any in-game scaling.

Go to your generic loading screens folder in the drive where you installed the game (e.g. OS (C: > Program Files (x86) > StandingStoneGames > The Lord of the Rings Online > raw > en > logo / C:\Program Files (x86)\StandingStoneGames\The Lord of the Rings Online\raw\en\logo).
