1 Ιουν 2021 · As the 2021 hurricane season begins, the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) encourages residents to prepare by pre-registering online for Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) benefits or updating their information, if necessary.
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Employment and Training initiative (SNAP E&T) offers SNAP recipients in Louisiana the opportunity to gain skills, training and work experience. The program is provided at no cost to SNAP recipients who participate.
How can I apply for SNAP? If you are not a current SNAP recipient, you can apply online for regular SNAP benefits. More information on this can be found at www.dcfs.la.gov/getSNAP. You can apply for regular SNAP benefits online through the CAFÉ customer portal, or by downloading a paper application and submitting it to DCFS by U.S. Mail or fax.
