Here, we report the results of a double-blind, prospective trial in postmenopausal women with low bone density to address the hypothesis that bone quality measured in terms of MRI-derived strength, microstructure, and adiposity is improved by daily application of low-intensity vibration, relative to placebo.
1 Αυγ 2023 · Vibration treatments play an important role in bone homeostasis by increasing osteoblast activity and decreasing osteoclast activity; this is supported in studies which simulate hypergravity effects on fish scales (Suzuki et al., 2007, 2009).
12 Μαρ 2019 · This is followed by an overview of what is known about effects of anthropogenic sounds on fishes and considers the current guidelines and criteria being used world-wide to assess potential effects on fishes.

Abstract. There has been evidence that cyclical mechanical stimulation may be osteogenic, thus providing opportunities for nonpharmacological treatment of degenerative bone disease.
10 Ιουν 2020 · A primary component of exercise, mechanical signals, when applied in the form of low intensity vibration (LIV), increases mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) osteogenesis and proliferation.
5 Απρ 2022 · This review identifies contentions in current literature describing the effect of microgravity on non-weight-bearing bones, different bone compartments, as well as the skeletal recovery...
