The History Museum is a regional historical society located in South Bend, Indiana. We own the Joseph Doty Oliver Mansion called Copshaholm and we are attached to the Studebaker National Museum.
All house teams practice and play at the local rinks in the South Bend area (primarily Notre Dame and the Icebox). The IYHL follows the USA Hockey ADM model for all age divisions. Players have 1-2 practices and one game per week throughout most of the season.
First organized in 1867, The History Museum is the second oldest historical society in Indiana. The site includes: The Oliver Mansion or Copshaholm, the 38-room mansion that was once home to local industrialist J.D. Oliver Worker’s Home, reflecting a Polish immigrant family in the 1930s.
