There are tons of LS swap forums and FB groups that have for sale sections. I'm a little biased, but I would recommend a 66-72 Chevy C10 short bed. For your budget you can get a really nice truck that's been done from the ground up with an LS.

20 Ιουν 2023 · Available used generally for pretty cheap. Requires “FABbot” adapter, and factory LS 4L60e bell housing. Bare adapter is ~$400. The FABbot kit is designed to use any F-Body LS1-to-T56 clutch and flywheel. Likely one of the most affordable swap options right now.
