19 Ιουν 2024 · Lume deodorant has a bad smell because all its ingredients are natural and strong-smelling. They smell like vinegar, whether it is AHA, BHA, or mandelic acid. Additionally, the fragrance of lemon grass, sage, and other ingredients is equally sour.
Lume claims rashes and irritation are "rare" with their deodorant but I beg to differ. Lume is the one and only deodorant I have ever reacted to. It causes such intense itching and burning for me after only a few days of use. It works great as far as odor but I can't tolerate the discomfort.
I stopped using antiperspirant, switched to Lume and saw amazing results for about 4-6 weeks. Then out of no where It wasn't working, like at all. I actually smelled so bad with the BO after waking up in the morning.
It won’t stop you from sweating, but it will kill the bacteria on the skin that cause the odor. However, bacteria will find a way and revive in that area, often from rewearing clothes. That’s why you have to bathe; it washes away the bacteria and gives you a fresh start.
