Based on the 2023 LCMS Convention theme “We Preach Christ Crucified,” LCMS Worship provides suggestions for liturgy, psalms, readings, hymns and collects to use during 2024 midweek Lenten services. Starter thoughts and suggestions for sermons are included.
On Ash Wednesday, as Lent begins, we are invited “to struggle against everything that leads us away from love of God and neighbour” by exercising the Discipline of Lent: repentance, fasting, prayer and works of love.
