Hey so I got out in 2019 and screwed around but I finally got around to signing up to challenge the LVN Board here in California. It’s a pretty simple and quick process. I submitted my application May 17 and just finished and passed today.
The LVN 30-Unit Option program typically lasts one year. According to the state board of nursing, the classes in the program must include both theory and clinical practice, encompassing advanced medical-surgical, mental health, psychiatric and geriatric nursing, physiology and microbiology.

The first step is to appeal an adverse decision. This generally goes one of two ways. In some cases, the appeals process is done internally by petitioning for a rehearing or review by the board. In others, the appeal may require going to court and requesting judicial review.
