Hey so I got out in 2019 and screwed around but I finally got around to signing up to challenge the LVN Board here in California. It’s a pretty simple and quick process. I submitted my application May 17 and just finished and passed today.
Find an "LVN 30-Unit Option" program at an accredited California school. Many community and technical colleges offer this program. Check for any prerequisite classes that you did not take during the LVN program, such as chemistry or anatomy and physiology.

The equivalency method permits unlicensed individuals who have had extensive inpatient bedside nursing care experience, plus a limited amount of formal education, to demonstrate that they have acquired sufficient basic nursing knowledge to be eligible for the licensure examination.
