Drivers must be informed if a ride request involves a non-service pet. Lyft’s policy requires drivers to accommodate service animals without exceptions.
Pet rides is a ride mode where you can bring along your pet for an additional fee, which goes directly to the driver. You can request a Pet ride by selecting the Pet ride option in the Lyft app. This option fits up to four people and one well-behaved animal. Pet rides are only available in the U.S. at this time.
