7 Ιουν 2022 · The Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 is a full-size, striker-fired, steel and polymer gun with a 17+1 capacity. During testing, I found it to be reliable and extremely accurate. The ergonomics are very well done on this gun with four backstrap options. That, good control placement, and aggressive grip texture all combine to make this gun a great shooter.
16 Σεπ 2024 · My stock M&P 2.0 4.2" 9MM barrel grouped freehand about 8" which wasn't too bad, and from a rest it grouped about 5" which isn't too shabby either. My 147gr handloads at 935fps will do 3" at 25, and 1-1.5" from a rest. If I back off on the charge to about 700ish fps the groups will tighten up a bit, but the ejection is weak, and I don't trust it.
5 Ιουν 2024 · Accuracy is often the deciding factor in evaluating a firearm’s performance, and the M&P 9mm 2.0 does not disappoint. The improved trigger system is a significant upgrade, offering a crisp break and a short, positive reset.
The M&P 2.0 is an excellent platform, and accuracy out to 25 yards will be totally shooting and maybe ammo dependent. Any modern handgun from reputable sources such as Glock, Smith, CZ, Ruger, Canik, can all do decent accuracy at 25.
7 Ιουν 2017 · When S&W announced their new 2.0 version at the 2017 SHOT Show, I was eager to see what refinements they came up with. The M&P 2.0 is currently available in 9 mm (4.25- and 5-inch barrels) .40 S&W (4.25- and 5-inch barrels) and .45 ACP in a 4.6-inch version.
