Below is a table of units in which density is commonly expressed, as well as the densities of some common materials. This free density calculator determines any of the three variables in the density equation given the other two.
Free online density converter - converts between 42 units of density, including kilogram/cubic meter, gram/cubic centimeter, kilogram/cubic centimeter, gram/cubic meter [g/m^3], etc. Also, explore many other unit converters or learn more about density unit conversions.
This tool allows to convert between weight and volume of liquids with known density. Enter the initial value you'd like to convert in the From field, provide the density value, select measurement units, and then click Convert .
9 Αυγ 2024 · The volume to mass calculator is a tool that will help you convert volume to mass or mass to volume. It includes dozens of items and their densities divided into six categories to help you find your result in seconds.
Use this water conversion tool to convert between different units of weight and volume. Please note that this type of conversion requires a substance density figure. A list of some common water density approximations is provided below.
To convert weight (mass) to volume, divide the mass of the substance by the density. Volume = Mass ÷ Density. For this to work, the density must be defined using the same units of mass and volume as referenced in the rest of the formula. As an example, Volume (m 3) = Mass (kg) ÷ Density (kg/m 3)
[kg/m³] – kilogram per cubic meter; [lb/ft³] – pound per cubic foot; [g/ml] or [g/cm³] – gram per milliliter or gram per cubic centimeter, which are equivalent to each other. The density of water in kg/m³ is 1000 times greater than the density of water in g/cm³ and circa 16.018 times smaller than the density of water in lb/ft³.
