  1. 24 Σεπ 2022 · When I connect the USB-C to my mac and the DVI-D to my monitor it says no signal. I've tried to put the USB-C in my Satechi adapter, and that adapter in my laptop but that doesn't work either. The cable supports up to 4k resolution, my acer monitor only up to 1920x1080 (Full HD).

  2. If your Mac still doesn’t recognize the attached display, try any of the following: Unplug the display from your Mac, then plug it back in. Make sure the cable you’re using is securely connected to the correct port. Make sure you’re using the correct cable to connect your display.

  3. 28 Ιαν 2021 · I'm using an HDMI-to-DVI adapter (probably the Apple one, although I don't see their logo on it), a generic DVI cable, and a Panasonic monitor. It works most of the time, but sometimes on wake from sleep or restarts there's no video out.

  4. 23 Απρ 2021 · My DVI monitor connected via Thunderbolt/DVI adapter (Manhattan model 153423) to my mac Mini (M1, 11.2.3) is not working. According to the system information, nothing is connected to the Thunderbolt connectors, even though the monitor is plugged in as described above.

  5. 25 Φεβ 2022 · You can’t force a Mac to play nicely with an incompatible external display by chaining multiple adapters together! If you have a chain of adapters, such as a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter chained to a DVI to HDMI adapter, you’ll need to replace this setup with a single, compatible adapter.

  7. 20 Νοε 2020 · I bought a new Mac Mini on December 26. The HDMI connection did not work with two older DVI monitors using two different cables. After conferring with Apple support, we returned it for a new Mac Mini, but the problem persists. USB-C to HDMI works.
