Mackie Thumps TH-15a - 250.00 each. Anyone who's read a review on these is exactly right. These are your best entry level "cheap" speakers. I got these first very cheap and figured they'd be perfect at 15 inches. They do sound pretty good, have great lows, don't cost much, etc.

10 Απρ 2010 · I just picked up a pair of powered Mackie PA speakers- the Thump TH-15A's. They sound surprisingly good, except at very low levels. There is some fuzz/grit, almost like a bad digital recording with not enough level from days of old.
Mackie Thump TH-15A is a powerful speaker that is light and can be used anywhere , and still get you a powerful sound.

The Thump15A uses a 1,000-watt amp to power its 15" woofer and a separate 300-watt amp to drive the 1.4" horn-loaded tweeter. The built-in time alignment and crossover circuitry result in maximum performance from the two drivers.
