Combined with tree-skiing from boundary-to-boundary, Magic’s terrain is what separates this ski area from all others in southern Vermont and the East Coast—virtually unchanged since the 1960s. The second aspect of what truly separates Magic, is the people who come here.
Magic Mountain is an anomaly in Southern Vermont. Steep and challenging, yet laid back and inviting, it exemplifies what old school skiing is all about in stark contrast to many other area resorts.
Magic Mountain is a smaller ski area nestled on Glebe Mountain near Londonderry in Vermont. The ski area covers 135 acres on the northwest side of the mountain. Peak elevation rests at 2850 feet, with the base lodge at 1150 feet, giving Magic a respectable vertical of 1700 feet.
Currently our snowmaking system covers 60% of our trails, including the steeper West Side trails, to insure quality skiing even when New England weather doesn’t always cooperate. Our grooming team lays down some of the best corduroy skiing and riding that lasts longer with our capacity limits.
