We walked through the small parking lot but parked on the street on a meter. I looked up the parking fee for the Pier lot and it is $10. Not sure for how long. Unsure about credit card but these days, most likely. You could go to the Malibu Pier website and write to them?

There is a parking lot that fills up fast next to the pier, and the parking ranges from 10 to 20 dollars. There is also one across PCH next to the Malibu Inn/Casa Escobar. Parking along PCH is free but hard to find.

PARKING . The pier has convenient parking located just steps from the pier. Rates vary by season. In the event parking is full, there are numerous options located in the neighborhood. Street parking is available but fills quickly (please check you are not parked in a red zone).
