This cave tour was included with our Groupon for Kentucky Down Under Zoo. It was a very nice tour, with a very knowledgeable (and patient!) guide. There are some steep steps and narrow spaces, so plan accordingly if taking this tour.

This is the cave located within Kentucky Down Under - it is a short 20-30 minute walk through a pretty but typical cave with nice formations and a little fun history. The guides are very good. Do not recommend taking children under 6 or 7 years old...lots of very wet stairs that are also steep.

Tour guide stopped a few times for people to look around and catch up but it was difficult to hear him. Our tour group was huge--way too many people. Small (ish) passages to walk thru and wet, uneven stairs to navigate. Not overly difficult though.
1 Ιουν 2021 · This is a 20-minute cave experience. It is a nice diversion in a heavily-tourist location. It makes a nice addition to the Kentucky Down Under exhibit. Also a good test-run for people thinking about visiting the Mammoth Cave National Park.
