Gila County Building Code Ordinance No. 2017-02 and the 2012 International Residential Code. It is intended to answer some of the most commonly asked questions regarding residential construction and to assist you in designing and building in compliance with the Building Code.
We provide plan review, issue building permits and inspect new construction, additions, and alterations of buildings and structures per the adopted Building Codes. Our primary mission is to insure safety while providing a better quality of life for the residents of Gila County.

This is accomplished by regulating and controlling the design, construction, quality of materials, used and occupancy, location and maintenance of all buildings and structures within the County.
