27 Ιουλ 2023 · The findings indicate that Africa-focused IB and IM research from 2002 to 2021 has coalesced around four major thematic clusters: (1) economic structures, institutional practices, and corporate social responsibility; (2) the Ubuntu philosophy and management strategies; (3) entrepreneurship; and (4) corporate governance.
20 Μαΐ 2017 · Based on a literature review of how management challenges in Africa have been studied to date, it introduces this volume’s three parts—Practices, Processes, and Performance. It also gives a brief insight of the chapters that discuss these challenges in detail.
Building on this exhaustive literature review, the authors provide specific suggestions regarding potential data sources and empirical strategies in African contexts, propose avenues for future research, and introduce four recent studies included in the special issue.
