I see the pin through the receiver and barrel and a pin through the magazine tube band. Are these the only things to remove to get the barrel out?

  2. 27 Οκτ 2013 · I have removed the barrel from my Model 60 and successfully reinstalled it but I don't recommend it. As others have said, there is no need to do so. I was stripping the gun down to sell for parts then I had a change of heart and reasembled it.

  5. 12 Απρ 2007 · You'll need special tools to remove your barrel, its been torqued on by machine, and the locking bolt will no doubt need to be changed, as that is what sets the headspace. Better to send the rifle in to Marlin for this kind of work.

  6. 2 Σεπ 2010 · I am trying to remove my barrel from my Marlin/Glenfield 20 and it is a bear to say the least. The pin came out very easily but the barrel is not budging. We put the receiver in a vise and beat on the barrel with a steel rod.

  7. 14 Απρ 2013 · It is very easy to remove the barrel. Strip the receiver, remove the pin holding the barrel. Hold the barrel in on hand and with a rubber mallet tap the receiver and the two will separate. Replacing is easy too, must make sure you line it up straight so the pin hole lines up.
