23 Αυγ 2021 · To obtain a marriage license, first complete an online marriage application and obtain a confirmation number. Then, log onto the Project Cupid website to upload your ID, verify each applicant’s identity, pay a $35 license fee, and schedule your appointment for a future date with the City Clerk.
9 Μαρ 2024 · To get a marriage license in New York, both parties must appear in person at a city or town clerk’s office. Both of you must bring proof of ID like your Social Security Number, birth certificate, and driver’s license, as well as documentation of previous marriages. You will also need to provide your parent’s birth names and country of birth.

If either you or your prospective spouse is under the age of 18 years, you are required to have written parental consent to obtain a Marriage License and you may not apply for a Marriage License online.
A Marriage License is required to get married in New York State. You can make an appointment to apply at any borough office. Marriage Licenses are usually valid for 60 days. For active military personnel, the License is valid for 180 days. The marriage ceremony needs to take place at least 24 hours after you receive the License.
Marriage Requirements for Queens, NY License: Both you and your intended spouse must appear at the office of the city clerk in person, together and at the same time to obtain a marriage license. However, the application can be started online and ready for you when you arrive at the Clerk’s office.
