The Red Sparkle finish was done by expert guitar finisher Marty Bell. Marty did this finish for us probably about 20-25 years ago along with several other bodies. The body was beat so this was a perfect one to have sparkled.
Marty's finish work is astonishing. Everything went back together with no problems. This ash Fender Baja body is a heavyweight, so I don't like that about this guitar.
Marty Bell does the best sparkle finishes out there! This one is alder and weighs in at 4lbs 6 oz. Like a small silvery baby for you to hold and love. Perfect shape, no dings or gouges. Already been drilled out for bridge and control plate and five hole pickguard.
Unknown who it comes from, just one of the ones Marty Bell uses. Single coil pickup route on both the bridge and Neck. Fender Spec'd in dimensions, Finish is under the guard as well. Weight 2.11 Kg
