31 Ιουλ 2015 · I've narrowed my choice down to Marty Bell. He appears to have a great reputation and receives stellar reviews. I'm after the highest quality job not the cheapest price.
15 Οκτ 2011 · Marty Bell does the best sparkle finishes in the industry IMO but his finish work in general is top shelf with good prices and a great turnaround time. I just posted these in another thread but they are both Marty Bell finishes.
Lay's and RS Guitarworks also seem to get pretty good reviews, but the lead times are a couple months still (RS Guitarworks also quoted me a price quite a bit higher than Lay's or Guitar mill). I tried contacting Rowyco Kustoms and Marty Bell as well, but they have both stopped doing nitro finishes.
Marty Bell does the best sparkle finishes out there! This one is alder and weighs in at 4lbs 6 oz. Like a small silvery baby for you to hold and love. Perfect shape, no dings or gouges. Already been drilled out for bridge and control plate and five hole pickguard.

Marty's finish work is astonishing. Everything went back together with no problems. This ash Fender Baja body is a heavyweight, so I don't like that about this guitar. Its my heaviest Telecaster at just over 8 pounds. The Pure Vintage '64 Telecaster pickups sound very nice, I have them in another Telecaster and in the bridge on one of my Esquires.
Rare finishes to find, not many out there. A partscaster that's in excellent condition. Has a Fender 2015 American Special neck, tuners and bridge. CS Twisted Tele bridge Pup, MIM Neck Pup all on a Fender Thinline spec'd body. Unknown maker on the body, but it's solid Ash.
