Renewal Application. Individual producer licenses are issued on a biennial basis to expire on the last day of the producer’s birth month. Business entity licenses are issued to expire 2 years from the date of issuance. The renewal fee is $69 which includes the $54 renewal fee and $15 fraud prevention fee.

Applicants with a Cancelled license status must contact Maryland Insurance Administration directly if attempting to re-apply. Initial Self-Service Storage license applications must be submitted via a paper application directly to state.
Late renew through NIPR's Resident License Renewal (RLR) Application. Insurance Producer, Title and Adviser lines of authority (LOA) applications are deferred to the state. Application will be approved once Maryland verifies that bond (s) on file in the correct amount are still active.
Self-Service Storage renewal applications must be submitted via a paper application directly to state. Applicant must hold an active Maryland Insurance Producer License with the Property and Casualty lines of authority to renew a Surplus Lines License.
