so I'm trying to install the "fake locations allowed" patch on a Fire HD8. I've successfully created the smalipatchermodule-0.0.7.4-fOmey@XDA.zip file and transferred it onto the Fire HD8. However, that's it, the following steps:
The device I'm using (Samsung Tablet A 8 2017 model) is rooted with magisk and twrp installed. I downloaded the Smali Patcher zip file from XDA, extracted it then opened it as admin. Then I selected only the first box "Mock Locations" then hit ADB Patch.
I tried SmaliPatcher method on Android 12&13. The result was successful. However, it's important to note that the "classes.dex" to be selected is different due to the "services.jar" of your device, and it's not exactly the same as the YouTube video. Also, you need to be aware of boot loop.
