Regardless of your pace through the degrees of Masonry, as a newly raised Master Mason, you should continually review your personal progress and take appropriate and positive action to improve yourself in Masonry.
The Masonic system comprises three fundamental elements often referred to as craft degrees – these include Entered Apprentice, Fellow Craft, and Master Mason. Each degree represents a unique phase in Mason’s progression toward understanding and embodying core values such as integrity and service.

Antient Freemasonry consists of four Degrees – The three first of which are, that of Apprentice, the fellow Craft and the sublime degree of Master; and a Brother being well versed in these degrees and otherwise qualified is eligible to be admitted to the fourth degree, the Holy Royal Arch.
The Fellow Craft degree you have just experienced embodies a great deal of knowledge and wisdom. Its symbols and lessons can take a lifetime to fully appreciate. This Fellow Craft handbook should be studied carefully, as it reviews much of the ritual associated with this degree.
There are four steps to becoming a Master Mason. The first is acceptance into the fraternity; the second, third, and fourth correspond to the three degrees of Masonry. A man who meets the basic qualifications of the Landmarks and Ancient Charges of our Fraternity can submit a petition for membership to a lodge.
