3 Δεκ 2019 · The mass spectrum of chlorine is good example of molecular element. Chlorine has two stable isotopes; chlorine-37 (25%) and chlorine -35 (75%).There are five main peaks of isotopes of chlorine of various isotopic monatomic ions. [37 Cl 2] + m\z = 74 ( molecular ion) [37 Cl 35 Cl] + m\z = 72.
This page looks at the information you can get from the mass spectrum of an element. It shows how you can find out the masses and relative abundances of the various isotopes of the element and use that information to calculate the relative atomic mass of the element.
29 Αυγ 2023 · It shows how you can find out the masses and relative abundances of the various isotopes of the element and use that information to calculate the relative atomic mass of the element. It also looks at the problems thrown up by elements with diatomic molecules - like chlorine, Cl 2.

2.2 Chlorine content of soil Chlorine is a natural constituent of soil organic matter. Its concentration in soil varies from 5 to 1500 μg/g dw. The soil organic matter contains 40-50% C, 30-40% O, 3-6% H, 1-5% N, 0.1-1.5% S, 0.03-0.2% P and 0.01-0.5% organic chlorine.
The partial pressure of water vapor (needed to convert some Henry's law constants) was calculated using the formula given by missing citation. The quantities A and α from missing citation were assumed to be identical.
Under the selected test conditions, the mass concentrations of Cl − and SO 42− are in the range of 1–100 mg/L, and the correlation coefficient R (Cl −) = 0.9998, R (SO 42−) = 0.9997. The detection limits for chloride ions were 0.005 µg/ml and 0.016 µg/ml for sulfate.
